STEAM PUNK FANTAIL

The New Zealand fantail, with the Maori name pīwakawaka, ducks and dives in front of me when I walk through the bush close to my home. In this painting, I have painted a handsome fellow who is fabulously steampunk, resplendent with a copper tail and wings, and finished with shiny black boots.
